About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter and/or Handy person to join our team at Apprentice Recruit.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers a range of benefits, including overtime opportunities and flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties, including restoring and/or replacing pergolas, eaves, decks, doors, and other structures.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Conduct end-of-lease property maintenance and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid driver's license and possess a White Card.
  • Have previous maintenance/residential carpentry experience and a strong work ethic.
  • Be able to work alone and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a WWVP or be able to attain one, and have Asbestos Awareness training.
