Job Description:

This Undergraduate Civil Engineer role provides hands-on experience and learning in various fields such as land development, traffic design, construction management, asset maintenance, and project coordination within a local government setting.

Requirements:
  • A current student pursuing a tertiary qualification in civil engineering with a strong academic record
  • Effective time management skills to balance studies with the demands of the role
  • Foundational experience with information systems and technology
  • A C-class driver's license
  • Intermediate computing, numeracy, and literacy skills
  • Intermediate organisational skills
  • Foundational customer service skills
  • Intermediate communication and problem-solving skills
  • Foundational research and analysis skills
  • A basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices including hazard identification in an office environment
