About Our Facilities Management Lead Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee daily site operations, including resource management, asset deployment, and resource utilization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Facilities Management, specifically in the mining industry, with demonstrated experience supervising teams of up to 15 personnel.

Job Summary

  • Oversee daily site operations, including resource management, asset deployment, and resource utilization
  • Assist in managing operational staff requirements, rosters, leave, timesheets, and span-of-control for personnel and sub-contractors
  • Assist site projects and services, including mobilisation, demobilisation, and supporting contract-related tasks
  • Work closely with site clients and company staff to control costs, expedite services, and address scope variations
  • Liaise effectively with client representatives on a daily and weekly basis
  • Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate records on site performance, resource usage, and project progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of facilities services across multiple sites
  • Lead a team of operational staff to ensure effective day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve site efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in Facilities Management within the mining sector
  • Previous FIFO experience essential
  • Solid background in Facilities Management, specifically in the mining industry
  • Demonstrated experience supervising teams of up to 15 personnel
  • Knowledge of HR/IR requirements relating to Fair Work as well as OH&S generally
  • Statutory Supervisor certificate (Section 26) - required (candidates without the certificate must be willing to obtain it)
  • Must have a valid WA driver's licence
  • Willingness to complete national police check and pre-employment medical prior to employment
  • Rio Tinto Inducted (highly desirable)
