Job Opportunity: Portfolio Planning Executive

The Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing is seeking a skilled Portfolio Planning Executive to lead the development and implementation of a portfolio strategy and asset management plan for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assets.

This role will oversee the development of data-driven portfolio analysis and advice as part of portfolio strategy development, asset management planning, identifying development and uplift opportunities, budget bids, and other transactions.

In collaboration with the broader Disability Homes Victoria team, this position will work to ensure the department's SDA offering best meets the needs and preferences of eligible NDIS participants and is aligned with demand and contemporary SDA development across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio strategy and asset management plan for SDA assets, ensuring the voice of lived experience is reflected
  • Lead the design development and construction design to support future SDA developments, aligning with portfolio strategy objectives
  • Apply innovative thinking to propose solutions and recommendations to senior management to address SDA portfolio challenges
  • Develop strategies and plans to manage the department's SDA portfolio and other disability assets
Requirements:
  • CV and Cover Letter outlining suitability to the role in line with the Key Selection Criteria
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid work permit or visa
  • Pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening
