This role plays a key part in supporting the academic success and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at a major university.

As an Advancement Manager, you will work closely with senior staff to drive student-focused initiatives and manage a high-performing team. You will provide academic guidance and mentoring to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and develop and implement tailored learning support initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing academic guidance and mentoring to students

Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and cultures
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision, training, mentoring, and performance management
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Excellent time and workload management skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
