Project Manager

Southern Grampians Shire Council is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Project Management Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our yearly capital works program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Develop and implement project management processes, methods, and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and construct projects, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and other relevant regulations.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Project to manage projects and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Qualifications in project management, engineering, architecture, construction, quantity surveying, building surveying, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including stakeholder engagement, design, and construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders in a complex public sector environment.
• Knowledge and skills in managing and implementing duties and responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.
