Tennis Event Operations Manager

This role is crucial to the success of our summer tennis events. The Event Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction zones during event setup, execution, and teardown.

  • Ensure compliance with AO expectations and venue restrictions through effective oversight of site activities
  • ID safety concerns and risk issues, and implement control measures as necessary
  • Coordinate communication with contractors, staff, and event personnel regarding site procedures

This individual must possess excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. Ideal candidates have experience in major events, contractor management, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing major events, including overlay, operations, and logistics
  • Contractor management experience (desirable)
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage quickly with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to think on feet, be agile, solution-driven, and a skilled problem-solver
