Senior Cyber Security Sales Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Sales Lead to join our team at Telstra. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading security sales activity in nominated accounts and territories, driving business development efforts, and building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage security account plans for target customers, accurately forecasting and tracking sales opportunities.
- Build relationships with key security technology partners and their stakeholders, identifying sales opportunities and engaging in joint account planning activities.
- Support other Telstra sales teams with security sales opportunities, providing bid, technical, commercials, and deal closure assistance.
- Organise and participate in industry events, round tables, and thought leadership sessions for business development purposes.
- Contribute to broader security marketing efforts and support Telstra Security brand and reputation in the market.
- Demonstrated experience in full-time sales/business development/account director role.
- Experience in developing and managing security account plans and opportunity management frameworks such as MEDDIC.
- Experience in developing, leading, and closing large security sales opportunities.
- Good understanding of the security landscape, including key technology vendors, industry trends, and concepts.
- Experience in leading and managing complex deal processes.
- Deep understanding of client value propositions across core domain areas such as network and cloud security, detection, response, and recovery, OT security, GRC, and advisory.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional with a strong background in complex security sales engagements. You will have a good understanding of the security landscape and be able to effectively prospect and build client relationships through sales calling, networking, targeted engagement, and propositioning.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will also have a deep understanding of client value propositions and be able to develop and manage security account plans to drive successful sales outcomes.
