About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Developer to join our team at Flying Bark Productions. As a key member of our pipeline crew, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our software infrastructure to support the creation of high-quality animation content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement pipeline solutions to streamline artist workflows and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, art, and technology, to ensure seamless integration of pipeline solutions.
  • Develop and maintain software tools and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve data management.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to artists and production teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in pipeline development, preferably in the animation industry.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in Shotgrid API, Shotgrid Toolkit, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Katana, Nuke, and Houdini, with a strong understanding of DCC API.
