Room Leader Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to take on the role of Room Leader in our childcare centre. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the educational programs and lead a team of Educators to deliver exceptional learning experiences for children.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. You will be responsible for leading your own room, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Educators to deliver high-quality educational programs
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for children and staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current QLD Blue Card
