We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at RPS Group. As a key member of our Water Consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering technical excellence in the design and delivery of water and wastewater process plants, pumping stations, and ancillary assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Delivery: Ensure projects meet required technical, legislative, quality, safety, and environmental standards and objectives.
  • Innovative Solutions: Identify and develop innovative and optimised technical solutions based on client needs and drivers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate work with multi-disciplinary teams, including process, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and ICA.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and grow relationships with clients and capital alliance partners on project technical, commercial, and progress matters.
  • Design and Advisory Services: Support and lead design and advisory services relating to new and existing water and wastewater process plants, pumping stations, and ancillary assets.
  • Electrical Design: Carry out production and checking complex electrical detailed designs, including calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings.
  • Project Delivery: Technical delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, in a Design Lead capacity where assigned, using the latest digital design techniques.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and performance development responsibility for assigned staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience in delivering process plant systems within complex engineering projects in the water industry.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience in water and/or wastewater projects.
  • Digital Design: Proficiency in digital design within design and construct projects.
  • Leadership: Leadership within technical or discipline teams, emphasizing a collaborative approach.
