About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic casual disability support workers to join our team in the Redland Bay and Cleveland areas. As a support worker, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers genuine support in all domains of life, enabling our participants to access quality of life with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
- Prompting assistance with personal care and managing appointments
- Community access and outings
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Experience in pressure injury care and wound management
- Assistance with budgeting and financial management
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
- Qualification in disability or a related field (aged care or community services)
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smartphone with internet access
- Two current professional references from a supervisor
