We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Animal Care Specialist to join our team.

About Your New Role
  • Undertake general animal care tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency care
  • Perform minor procedures under veterinary guidance, when required
  • Maintain the overall hygiene of the facility, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Reception duties, including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years of clinical experience. A strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures, excellent animal handling skills, great communication and customer service skills, and ability to work well autonomously and within a team environment are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Excellent animal handling skills
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team environment
  • Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential

Availability across Monday - Saturday is required.
