Role Overview
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Special Education Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with disabilities.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational programs and services to students with diverse needs. You will work collaboratively with special education teachers, teacher aides, and other support staff to ensure that all students have access to inclusive and supportive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and school teams
- Provide intensive, focused teaching and learning sessions to support student achievement and progress
- Collaborate with special education teachers and teacher aides to provide comprehensive support to students
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to inform instruction and adjust IEPs as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support
