About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Leasing Specialist to provide on-site support for our clients. This role is pivotal in managing transactions within our retail portfolio and will report directly to the National Retail Leasing Director.

The Retail Leasing Specialist will play a crucial role in transaction management, ensuring the implementation of strategies established by the Retail Business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating retail lease agreements and transactions.
  • Overseeing property and leasing services, focusing on commercial performance and client engagement.
  • Securing lease renewals, relocations, and refurbishments while negotiating favorable terms.
  • Conducting market research to maintain competitive rent levels.
  • Collaborating with the National Retail Leasing Manager to develop effective strategies and policies.
  • Ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
  • Maintaining updated leasing records and compliance with CPI and fixed reviews.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships to exceed service delivery expectations.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports on property performance and lease negotiations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience in a leasing role within the retail sector.
  • A valid State Real Estate License or Sub-Agents License.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple complex issues under tight deadlines.
  • A goal-oriented mindset focused on achieving performance targets.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Strong financial acumen for monthly reporting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the retail team.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
