Job Opportunity for Support Workers

We are currently seeking support workers to join our team in the Northern Rivers region. This role involves providing person-centred care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and enabling them to live their best life possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments.
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress.
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required.
  • Perform work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator.
  • Services are generally between the hours of 6am-6pm Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance.
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required).
  • Smartphone with internet access.
