As a seasoned search engine optimisation professional, you will lead our digital team in developing and implementing a comprehensive SEO strategy that aligns with business objectives.
- Create and execute a robust SEO plan to improve organic rankings and drive qualified leads
- Manage and develop two SEO specialists, allocating tasks from the backlog and building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Analyse organic performance and competitors to understand opportunity areas, owning and refining offsite link building strategies
- Provide SEO performance updates to key stakeholders, leading and managing end-to-end SEO projects
- Build strong relationships with teams to deliver aligned SEO strategies
You will have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices. You will leverage web analytics tools, such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics, to track and optimise performance. Additionally, you will use SEO platforms like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Majestic, and Buzzsumo to support technical audits and strategic planning.
Required Skills:- 5+ years experience in SEO
- 2+ years in a head of/Senior SEO or SEO Strategy role, managing internal resources and external agencies
- Strong understanding of YMYL, E-E-A-T and Helpful Content principles to inform content strategy
- Experience managing SEO like a performance channel with an obsession for daily lead performance tracking
- Technical skills such as HTML and WordPress with a strong understanding of URL hierarchies, redirects, hygiene factors, schema, and page speed
