Drive Innovation in Payments

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Issuing squad, responsible for delivering comprehensive and customisable card solutions.

The successful candidate will have experience in banking/financial services, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, strong data analysis capabilities, and knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

As the Product Owner, you will set the product vision, own and prioritise the backlog of work, partner with stakeholders, and make strategic decisions to deliver maximum value for the organisation against priorities of resilience, compliance, client delivery and innovation.

  • Champion exceptional client experiences by communicating clear visions to the scrum team and informing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Own and prioritise the backlog of work for the team which could include client delivery, maintenance, defects, incidents and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Product Managers to build new or enhance and optimise products in line with broader market needs and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex trade-offs and competing priorities in order to make strategic decisions.
  • Lead and coach the squad in the management and prioritisation of effort and planning delivery of the backlog.
  • Ensure the investment of resources to deliver maximum value for the organisation.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage multiple/cross business requirements at various stages of the product lifecycle and have exposure to Cards & Payments, preferably in Issuing.

About You
  • 4+ years in banking/financial services with preference for delivering SaaS and/or B2B products.
  • Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple/cross business requirements at various stages of the product lifecycle.
