Job Overview:

A floor covering installer is a skilled tradesperson responsible for ensuring the proper installation of various types of flooring, including carpet, vinyl, ceramic tiles, and hardwood. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in this field
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
Work Environment:

The work environment is typically residential with various locations. This job requires frequent or constant travel from the employee.
