We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Officer.
This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate issue of invoices and statements to support efficient collections, assisting with debt recovery, and delivering a reliable and confidential service tailored to the needs of our organisation.
- Issue Accounts Receivable invoices and statements for debtor accounts in accordance with established procedures.
- Create, review, and maintain debtor accounts to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Distribute invoices, debtor statements and reports, and reconciliations internally as required, following up with investigation and/or guidance where necessary.
- Assist in the debt recovery collection process in accordance with our debt recovery policy to facilitate timely payment.
- Participate in coaching and training activities to build awareness and skill among key staff across the organisation in relation to debt management best practice and the effective use of supporting systems.
- Respond to written, telephone, and counter enquiries regarding debtor accounts and debt recovery issues, providing accurate and helpful information to customers and stakeholders.
- Investigate credit balances on debtor accounts and facilitate refunds in a timely manner where appropriate.
