Family Physician Opportunity

Job Overview:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic diseases/illnesses.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and referrals to specialists as needed.
  • Manage chronic disease and end-of-life care, ensuring patients receive compassionate and personalized support.

Work Environment:

  • Join a large interdisciplinary team, collaborating with medical professionals, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, LPNs, dietitians, occupational therapists, mental health clinicians, and population health coordinators.
  • Work in a newly renovated clinic, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare, particularly in diverse demographics.
  • Knowledge of elder care and mental health principles, with a focus on holistic patient care.
