Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of radio access network (RAN) operations, capabilities, and tactical relationships. They will operate the Tactics Instructor Station (TIS) to support training missions and participate in simulator training exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate TIS to support training missions and participate in simulator training exercises by role-playing as flight crew and external communication/co-ordination roles.
  • Set up all trainer requirements and respond to changing mission requirements.
  • Ensure that the integration of various trainer portions and training scenarios are completed prior to the start of the scheduled mission.
  • Document and provide discrepancies and/or malfunctions determined during training to the maintenance team.
  • Simulate Synthetic Environment generation and manipulation while operating in live support environments alongside aircrew instructors.
  • Assist the maintenance team in troubleshooting using gained expertise.

Essential Requirements:

  • Possess a SECRET level Defence security clearance with preference for current clearance.
  • Practical understanding of Seahawk sensor suite.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Seahawk operational capabilities and limitations.
