Position Overview
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care within the Scrub Scout Perioperative Unit. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse who possesses strong interpersonal and customer service skills, coupled with a commitment to high-quality nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients
  • Collaborate effectively with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team
  • Ensure the safety of both patients and staff
  • Supervise and guide nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
  • Educate and support patients in managing their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care
About the Organization
HealthcareLink Support operates a private hospital in the Northern Territory, featuring 122 licensed beds. Our facility offers a comprehensive range of surgical services, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Urology, Gastroenterology, ENT, and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory services. We cater to a diverse patient population, including those from remote communities.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or in progress)
  • Working with Children check
  • Strong commitment to quality patient care
  • Adherence to ACQSHC National standards
  • Proficient clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Basic computer proficiency
