Job Title:

A Lecturer In Social Work opportunity has arisen at a reputable institution

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the activities of the School are operated effectively and efficiently, providing a quality service to students and staff.
  • Produce research and scholarship that informs learning and teaching, and curriculum innovation and development.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of School and other academic staff
  • Provision of field education liaison duties to students undertaking their practicum placement and experience.
Requirements:
  • Hold a PhD qualification in a relevant Social Work discipline.
  • Lecturing and teaching experience (3+ years would be an advantage).
  • Committed Christian involved in a local congregation.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching at a tertiary level, learning, scholarship and research, including curriculum development and modification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students; ability to communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with colleagues.
