Job Description

As a vital member of the Support Services team within a hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities remain clean and hygienic. This dynamic position involves carrying out cleaning duties in wards and departments, with comprehensive training provided.

To excel in this role, you should possess a positive attitude towards work and be able to work independently or as part of a cohesive unit.

This challenging position demands flexibility, with varying shift times and a 3-week rota. Some weekend working may also be required.

  • Post 1: Four positions are available, requiring approximately 14.8 hours per week, with shift times between 4:45pm and 7:45pm, five days over seven.
  • Post 2: One position is available, requiring approximately 19.73 hours per week, with shift times between 3:45pm and 7:45pm, five days from Monday to Friday.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, with enhanced rates for weekend work. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided, along with access to a workplace pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.
