Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Specialist to join our team in NSW.

This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment across aged care and acute care environments to ensure safety and functionality for caregivers and patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electronics repair, with experience working in healthcare or related sectors.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment and related third-party items
  • Routine scheduled servicing and breakdown support
  • Promotion of services and service contracts to customers in regional NSW
  • Regional business development and collaboration with other technicians
  • Technical solutions provision in a professional manner within agreed time frames
  • Accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired
  • Maintenance and reporting of spare parts stock
  • Safety and integrity maintenance of all serviced products
  • Travel within regional NSW to meet customer needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as engineering or science
  • 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within Healthcare or related sector
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong time management and planning skills with ability to meet KPIs
  • Customer-focused, well-presented, confident, and sensitive when interacting with staff and clients in healthcare environments
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Experience with small hand tools, soldering, power tools, and test/inspection equipment
  • Computer literacy; iPad familiarity advantageous
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and within a team
  • Current driver's licence (Class C) essential
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 and current influenza vaccination encouraged due to hospital and aged care facility work
