About the Role

We are seeking a driven and passionate Junior Property Manager to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in the management of a tidy portfolio of properties, ensuring timely and efficient handling of maintenance and repair requests.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, ensuring prompt attention to all issues and minimizing downtime.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct thorough inspections (ingoing, outgoing, routine) to ensure properties are well-maintained and report any issues to the relevant parties.
  • Rent Collection and Arrears Management: Ensure timely rent collection and minimize arrears, maintaining proactive communication with tenants to resolve any issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with property management and leasing teams to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possession of a valid driver's licence is essential for this role.
  • Real Estate Experience: Prior experience in real estate is advantageous but not essential, as we are willing to provide training and support for the right candidate.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are essential for effective collaboration and communication with tenants, property owners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to Learn and Grow: A willingness to learn and desire to progress your career in real estate are essential for success in this role.
