This is a casual labouring position working within the metal recycling industry, our client specialises in the buying and selling of scrap metals.

We are seeking reliable individuals to assist with daily operations including keeping the site clean, material sorting, loading and unloading, and general labouring tasks.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sorting or metal work and be willing to learn new processes on site.

To be successful in this role:

  • MUST be reliable
  • MUST have previous sorting/metal experience
  • Willingsness to learn
  • Excellent attendance for work
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test

This opportunity allows for progression into permanency after probation. The pay rate is $32-$34 per hour with penalty rates applying.

Work is undertaken during an 8-hour shift, day shift only.

Experience: Previous General hand/labouring experience preferred (1 year+)
