Gem Kids Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team as a primary school NAPLAN exam preparation specialist.

We are looking for an individual who can deliver engaging lessons, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for critical exams through tailored teaching methodologies.

**Job Description**

As a primary school NAPLAN exam prep teacher, you will work with students to enhance their skills in English, Mathematics, and reasoning. Your role will involve:

  • Teaching small groups of students, focusing on NAPLAN exam preparation using our curriculum.
  • Providing timely feedback to students on their classroom work, helping them improve their SMART Skills.
  • Updating weekly feedback about each student on the parent dashboard, ensuring clear communication of progress and areas for improvement.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic background, preferably with an ATAR of 90+ or current/former primary school teaching experience.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring primary school students, particularly for NAPLAN exams.
  • Strong command of English and Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles.
