About the RoleThe Technical Solutions Strategist is a high-profile project and strategic position that plays a vital role in evaluating business needs and determining how IT can effectively support those requirements by leveraging software, hardware, or infrastructure.
This challenging role is responsible for making informed architectural decisions that align with both the project scope and the overall IT strategy. Additionally, the Technical Solutions Strategist will contribute significantly to the development and maintenance of IT group standards and governance.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the creation of Corporate Technology's IT strategy.
- Align the IT strategy with the organisation's goals for the next three years.
- Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into solution designs and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Provide guidance and direction for implementing 'The Perenti Way'.
- Identify potential solution options, enhancements, and recommendations.
- Define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their objectives.

- Building and maintaining relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
- Seeking and obtaining feedback from stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and that service provision meets expectations.
- Sharing knowledge and learning with others.
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Considerable knowledge and experience in designing and implementing software and infrastructure solutions across large environments.
- A strong ability to identify opportunities and inefficiencies in IT infrastructure.
- Experience in infrastructure and network solution design.
- Knowledge of the challenges of remote sites, specifically remote mining sites.
- Experience designing, migrating, and implementing cloud-based solutions with Microsoft Azure.
- A strong background in enterprise solution architecture, with experience in finance and HR business processes and technologies.
- A safety-first mindset.
We offer an attractive salary of approximately $150,000 per annum, reflecting the complexity and importance of this role.
