About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as an Operations Manager at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) Gold Coast. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing hospital systems, recruiting and onboarding team members, and coordinating day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hospital systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Recruit, onboard, and train team members to ensure a high-performing team
  • Coordinate and analyze management reports to assess performance against budget and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead change initiatives and improve operational management systems and processes
  • Prioritize delivering high-quality service to clients and referring veterinarians, while ensuring the welfare of patients and team members
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or veterinary setting
  • Exceptional self-awareness, empathy, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to work
  • Mentoring, motivating, and coaching team members with strong relationship management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and financial management, with experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to deal with difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
