Job Overview

We are seeking a Sports Coordinator to assist with the administration and delivery of sports programs at a reputable educational institution.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, promoting and implementing sports programs, including personnel management, administration and competition management.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote sports programs and increase participation.
  • Assist with coordination of House sport carnivals and day-to-day administrative tasks.
Essential Requirements

To secure this role, you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in sports management, sports science or human movement.
  • Proven experience working in sport, with a focus on program implementation and staff management.
  • A current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing programs, including budget management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desirable Skills

Superior organizational, time management and administration skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in Strength & Conditioning would be advantageous.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
