Job Summary

Macro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Director of Student Wellbeing to join our client's team in Darwin. As a key member of the school's leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing student wellbeing programs that promote a positive and caring school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage student wellbeing programs for Years 7-9, including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Coach and mentor staff and students to foster a positive and caring school culture.
  • Manage casework and resolve complex student issues in collaboration with school counsellors.
  • Oversee events and programs to enhance student engagement and wellbeing.
  • Support onboarding processes and school tours for new students and families.

Requirements

  • Leadership skills to manage wellbeing programs and policies.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • A degree in Education (postgraduate qualifications in wellbeing or social work are a plus).
  • Familiarity with wellbeing practices and school environments.
