KU Children's Services is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Service Director to lead our KU Sunbeam team.
About the Role
The Service Director will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators to provide high-quality early childhood education and care services to children aged 2-6 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care services.
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and families.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and KU policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with children, families, and the community.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of KU's strategic plans and goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or as an educator.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check.
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree.
- Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates and approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates.
- NESA Teacher Accreditation.
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF).
