Support Worker Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support services to individuals with disabilities and aged care needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic individual who can make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal care: assisting with showering, dressing, grooming, and medication administration
  • Domestic assistance: providing light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation support
  • Social support/transportation: accompanying customers on social activities, shopping/groceries, and travelling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services. You must also hold current CPR/First Aid Certificate, Criminal Record Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card, Blue Card (Working with Children Check), and Current Australian Driver's Licence.

You should also possess a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle and a smartphone with internet access.
