Occupational Therapist Role in Disability Support

About the Role
CareChoice is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality disability support services. As an Occupational Therapist at CareChoice, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address the needs of clients with disabilities.
- Implement interventions and provide education to clients, their families, and support workers to promote independence and community participation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Prescribe assistive technology and home modifications to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Liaise with the NDIS, Support Coordination, and other external organizations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Working with Children Check (Employee type).
- Valid Victorian Driver's Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
