This is a permanent role for an experienced Psychologist to conduct specialist diagnostic assessments using established tools such as the ADOS-2 and ADI-R in Newcastle.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional outcomes.
About the Role- We are seeking a HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist to perform specialist diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD.
- You will prepare detailed, professional assessment reports with actionable recommendations and interventions in a timely manner.
- Conducting specialist diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD.
- Preparing detailed, professional assessment reports.
- HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist.
- Relevant degree in Psychology.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Demonstrated experience conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental or specialist developmental assessments.
- Clinical experience supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties.
- In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD.
- Proficiency in differential diagnosis.
- Ideally trained in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative team player comfortable in a multidisciplinary setting.
