AGV Engineer

As a Graduate AGV Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering automated guided vehicle solutions and collaborating with our global team of automation and robotics experts.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will ensure quality and system processes within assigned projects, preparing AGV functionality and technical specifications, developing system design and programming of AGV systems, and assisting in AGV system testing, integration, and factory testing.
  • You will also support installation specifications, test and integrate AGV and PLC systems, commission AGVs on-site, manage project costs and schedules, participate in operator training, and contribute to the development and improvement of AGV project delivery.
Requirements
  • To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering, recent graduate or 1-2 years experience, knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning, and basic programming skills (PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ highly desirable).
  • You will also require experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting, electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages, and experience in automation or materials handling highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a hunger to learn are essential for this role.
