Early Childhood Education Professional

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Education professional. As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Childcare Educators and Teachers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children ages 6 months to 5 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the childcare centre, including staffing and communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the professional development of the Childcare Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity.

Requirements:

  • ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
  • A current Blue card.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
