Key Responsibilities- Coach and monitor graduates and students on effective practice, working with young people to achieve their goals, providing support to families and carers, undertaking planning and delivery of group work, and working with service providers.
- Lead and guide students and graduates to undertake assessments, develop clinical and psychosocial treatment plans, complete risk assessments, and utilize recovery-oriented practice techniques.
- Provide suitable guidance and clinical supervision to support continuing education across mental health, alcohol and other drugs, employment, and physical health.
- Educate graduates and students to comply with and understand clinical governance structures, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with Universities regarding development of student's clinical skills and complete placement assessments of the students' progress.
- Tertiary degree qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or other health-related field and hold current registration with AHPRA, AASW, or Mental Health Accreditation.
- Previous experience working with young people, adults, and families with mental health and/or contextual challenges, i.e. family violence, homelessness, AOD, protective issues.
- Proven ability to implement and mentor recovery-oriented frameworks and practices.
- Capability to lead, coach, and provide supervision to students and staff to achieve high-quality service outcomes and meet service delivery requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Community Services sector and ability to build strong relationships with service providers, tertiary institutions, and key stakeholders.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 p.a. allows you to allocate a portion of your pre-tax income to cover living expenses.
- Option to access Meal and Entertainment allowance up to $2,650 p.a. via Salary Packaging.
