At ERM, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our contaminated site management team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise in environmental assessment and remediation while working with a global leader in sustainability.

Job Description

This role involves supporting the management of consulting projects in Perth, focusing on site investigation, audit, and remediation. You will be responsible for executing environmental assessments and remediation programs, collecting field data, and supervising fieldwork programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing environmental assessments and remediation programs involving the collection of field data (soil, soil gas/vapour, groundwater).
  • Assisting with statutory and non-statutory site audits.
  • Providing inputs into environmental reports.
  • Supervising fieldwork programs, including subcontractors and personnel on site.
  • Collaborating with a growing team responsible for consulting on contaminated sites.
Requirements

We are looking for an ideal candidate who has:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, civil engineering, soil science, or a related field.
  • Previous consulting experience is highly desirable.
  • Fieldwork experience involving data collection is essential.
  • A high appreciation and understanding of health & safety requirements on complex work sites.
  • The ability to work in remote areas if necessary for an extended period.
  • Proven report writing skills.
  • Experience providing completed tasks and inputs into elements of projects and proposals.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with clients, project teams, disciplines, and business units.
