About the Role:

The Mechanical Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our Centurion CHPP. This includes supervising and coordinating contractors, scoping and scheduling work orders, and reporting on maintenance activities.

As a key member of the prep plant team, you will work closely with stakeholders to achieve targeted plant reliability, availability, and statutory compliance.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong knowledge of coal processing and a trade or engineering background is highly regarded.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate contractors for maintenance days and major shutdowns
  • Scope, schedule, execute, and report on work orders to ensure schedules are being complied with and completed accurately
  • Work with key stakeholders and team members to achieve targeted plant reliability, availability, and statutory compliance
  • Demonstrate safe behaviors and provide leadership and guidance to the team of CHPP Technicians
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards (including the Mechanical Engineering Management Plan) and operating cost budget for CHPP maintenance
  • Identify and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities
