We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engineering support for the Defence High Frequency Communications System and related projects. This will involve performing structural analysis, acceptance testing, certification, and troubleshooting across various steel and concrete structures.

They will also contribute to the design and assessment of structures, including steel lattice towers, guyed structures, and concrete foundations, as well as floor, wall, and roof loadings.

Ongoing interstate travel will be required to work across diverse environments and challenges.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in structural analysis and design, ideally with steel lattice or similar large-scale structures.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles across the full lifecycle of a project, from initial assessment through corrective procedures and compliance assurance.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 3995 and AS 1170.
  • Experience in designing preventative/corrective maintenance of guyed steel lattice structures with concrete foundations.
