About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Production Operations Director to lead our manufacturing operations and drive business success. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. They will be responsible for managing daily operations, including production scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee inventory control, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze production data to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with IT and ERP systems.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
