Talent Acquisition Manager

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. This is a key role that will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting and guiding legal talent throughout their experience with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Recruiting: Proactively source and recruit industry leading talent, build and maintain a network of potential candidates by direct sourcing, proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Talent Management: Serve as primary partner for a group of ~25-40 legal professionals in defined legal practice area(s) to provide next-level client and Axiom Legal Talent experience.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and use professional judgement in evaluating attorney candidates.
  • Pipeline Management: Evaluate client demand in partnership with the commercial team and assist in managing our lawyer hiring strategy to ensure a consistent, relevant pipeline of candidates.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years full cycle recruiting experience within a recruiting agency/staffing firm or in-house for a company.
  • Strong interviewing capabilities to assess candidate skills, ability and suitability efficiently and quickly.
  • Deep sense of urgency, pace and drive to ensure matching of our legal talent with the right client opportunities.
  • Poise, confidence and gravitas to interact with highly experienced legal professionals.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and creatively problem solve.
  • Excellent systems skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
