Key Role:

The successful candidate will have a key role in developing innovative software solutions that drive improved clinical and financial outcomes for veterinarians and pet owners. They will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality user interfaces using Angular, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.

As part of our technology solutions team, the individual will contribute to building a globally reaching first-class SaaS product. They will be an enthusiastic developer with an eye for detail and a desire to contribute not just code, but opinions, suggestions, and innovations from initial designs through the full SDLC.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Implementing angular components, UI and workflows as part of a large business application using designs and user stories for guidance
  • Designing and developing responsive user interfaces that meet the needs of diverse users
  • Working in close collaboration with other team members to complete user stories and achieve project goals
  • Participating in peer reviewing code changes and assisting with implementing best practice patterns
  • Contributing to the design process by sharing ideas of continual improvement
  • Supporting the product team by providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with company goals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology combined with demonstrated 2-5 years expertise in JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript.
  • Great knowledge of CSS, SASS, and/or Tailwind.
  • Good knowledge of Angular testing, front-end web testing with Playwright.
  • Demonstrated experience with web application security and understanding of Azure or alternative cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle, including reviewing the Design Story Writing and QA stages.
  • Confidence in suggesting and making changes, seeking out opportunities for collaboration and iterating on code based on feedback.
