Senior Wet Fire Systems Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing fire protection systems, with experience working on high-profile construction projects. The role requires the ability to design and implement fire systems that meet Australian standards and project-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Design fire protection systems to Australian standards, NCC, and project-specific requirements.
- Manage the full design process from concept through to construction documentation.
- Prepare layouts, schematics, and hydraulic calculations using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Coordinate with BIM teams, consultants, builders, and certifiers.
- Provide design support and technical input throughout project delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in fire protection system design in commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience on high-profile construction projects.
- FPAS Design (Fire Systems) accreditation or Diploma of Fire Systems Design – essential.
- Strong understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, and NSW regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit & hydraulic software experience (Hyena/SprinkCAD) desirable.
