Our organization is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in procurement and contract management, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve service delivery outcomes.

The successful applicant will be highly organized, with excellent time-management and communication skills. They will also have the ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering results and making a positive impact.

  • Monitor and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry and tracking of procurement activity and contracts.
  • Provide proactive administrative and operational support daily by monitoring procurement activity in the procurement mailbox.
  • Maintain records, reports, databases and audit documents ensuring compliance with records management requirements, agency policies.
  • Work within tight timeframes, changing deadlines to deliver priorities and workload.

Key qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience working with financial management information systems.
  • High level of computer proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Well-developed communication, organisational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with internal teams, business stakeholders and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes.

Salary: APS4 $80,643 - $87,558 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
