Overview

A community-focused not-for-profit organization based in Rockhampton seeks a customer-centric Coordinating Travel and Accommodations Specialist to provide essential support services to guests.

About the Role

This busy and varied role is based in Rockhampton, where you will manage reception, work with incoming reservations, meet and greet guests, coordinate transportation, assist with requests, and process invoices and administrative requisitions. You will also ensure consumables are stocked and handle any incoming enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Reception and respond to guest inquiries
  • Work with incoming reservations and coordinate guest transport requirements
  • Meet and greet guests, coordinating all their needs and requirements
  • Assist guests with requests and provide exceptional customer service
  • Process accommodation invoices, administrative requisitions, and petty cash
  • Ensure all consumables are stocked and ready for use
  • Liaise with housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Reception, Reservations, or Administration
  • Hospitality experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to empathize and manage communications in a sensitive manner
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong time management and coordination skills
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
Salary and Benefits
