Maintenance Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, faultfinding and breakdowns on various manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining site equipment and upholding innovative approaches to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven understanding of operation and maintenance procedures of all site equipment.
  • Uphold an innovative approach to the position with a view to improve efficiency in operation and performance.
  • Minimize downtime and optimize plant efficiency through dynamic work methods.
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualifications in mechanical or maintenance fitter trade.
  • Mechanical knowledge experience in servicing equipment including mechanical components, bearings, and pneumatics.
  • Maintenance database experience.
  • Confined space certificate, EWP license, and forklift license.
